A Retro Spectacle of Go-Go Boots Fall Fashion Inspo from the 1960s and 1970s

It might not be officially "go-go boot season" according to what's trending on TikTok, but honestly, did they ever go out of style? Every few years, chunky shoes swing back into fashion, and this is actually one of those years. Platforms are everywhere – even on Crocs! And what's chunkier (or cooler) than a pair of tall, glossy go-go boots? They make your legs look great and instantly turn every outfit into a statement by adding a bit of retro flare.

Now that the weather is cooling down, it's the perfect time to swap out your sandals for something a bit warmer. Luckily, there's a lot of fall footwear to choose from. I'm personally a huge fan of cowboy boots, but I can appreciate a slouchy suede boot styled in the right way. Now that I've seen these glorious pictures of women in the golden era of go-go fashion, I feel inspired to add them to my own wardrobe this season. Go-go boots and a mini skirt are such an iconic pairing! It will never not look good. Wearing these boots with a longer skirt is definitely hit-or-miss, though.
